Payrate: $ 21.43 - $ 21.43 /hr.

Shift: Flexible (20-25 hours per week) and 8 am to 2 pm about 1 day a week

General Summary:

The Sensory Technician will assist with the internal sensory testing program for Meals & Beverage Division. The role involves conducting product tests, maintaining equipment, and supporting sensory testing initiatives to ensure product performance and quality.



Responsibilities:

Ensure that products perform correctly
Perform tests on manufactured products
Assemble, calibrate, improve, and maintain equipment
Report on product defects



Primary Accountabilities

Maintain a clean and organized lab in compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations
Collaborate with project leaders to understand testing needs
Organize and execute internal tests; finalize Compusense designs, verify code-label accuracy, print placemats, assemble projects, export results, and draft reports
Design laboratory setups for projects
Prepare samples accurately and deliver reliable data to project leaders
Lead execution of internal testing panels and ensure data validity
Manage employee testing databases
Identify opportunities to improve sample preparation and test execution processes
Maintain storeroom testing supplies
Maintain the internal sensory test calendar, focus group room calendar, and consumer kitchen
Communicate upcoming tests to employees via emails and signage
Schedule additional technicians as needed
Support other testing activities as assigned



Key Skills:

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)



Qualifications / Education:

Minimum: High school diploma
Preferred: Associate of Science in Engineering Technology or a related field
2 years of relevant work experience
Ability to taste food and beverages across product categories



Pay Transparency:

The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $ 21.43 - $ 21.43 /hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
