Our goal is to create better solutions to help healthcare professionals succeed, and we are looking for people like you to help bring this vision to life.What you'll do:As a software engineer at Torch, you will help create delightful experiences for our customers in close collaboration with stakeholders on the engineering, product, and operations teams. You will take a significant role in owning features and will collaborate closely with the CTO and other leaders to land changes that meaningfully affect the course of the business.What we are looking for:

• 4+ years of experience in a professional engineering environment
• Deep familiarity with building for the web across both the front and backend
• Experience building products or large scale features with a high level of polish
• A demonstrated record of building scalable and performant systems
• Comfort working directly with non-engineers, such as product designers, product managers, or business stakeholdersBonus:
  • Started a company of your own
  • Taken an active role in setting coding or architecture standards for an engineering team
  • Been a part of brainstorming and ideation sessions for early stage products or features
  • Dealt with performance and scaling systems with databases or data stores in real-world settings
