Job Description:
A company is looking for a Principal Packaging Engineer to lead
a strategic Packaging Optimization Initiative within its Consumer
Products division.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the review and implementation of standardized packaging
solutions
Evaluate packaging materials for recyclability and sustainable
improvements
Conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) to assess environmental
impacts of packaging changes
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering
Experience with various packaging forms such as plastic bottles and
corrugate
Technical knowledge of packaging substrates and manufacturing
processes
Six Sigma Certification preferred
AutoCAD and sustainability experience required
